We are always looking to collaborate with our clients in any way we can. This Summer we are joining our beautiful St Katharine Docks site in a race along the Thames. The race is no small feat as it is a total of 8.5 miles, beginning in Chelsea and ending in Greenwich. The ‘Oarsome Rowing Challenge’ contains a total of 14 boats. The Jones FM team are making up two of them. We have team Dream Boat; whose captain is one of our Partners Chris Jones. His teammates are Molly Chase, Adam Harding, Grace Jones, James Robinson and Aaron Rumsey. Our second boat, Vitamin Sea, is being led by our Senior Contracts Manager Tom Morris. His team consist of Jordan Dolling, Nick Wilson, Jordan Colclough, Esther Pellow and Joe Chaney. In a not so shocking turn of events, there is already competition between the two teams. You’ve never seen so much plotting and whispering in the Jones FM head office. However, the winning is not as important as the wonderful charity we will be raising funds for.
AHOY is a charity which is based in Deptford which offers training, qualifications and support to at-risk youth and disabled people in the community. They offer a variation of support to those who attend the centre, this ranges from formal qualifications to confidence building activities. If you want to find out more about this charity and the amazing work they do please click here.
The race is taking place on the 6th August, training has begun, tensions are high and even fundraising is now getting competitive amongst the Jones FM teams. If you can donate, please follow the links below for the respective Jones FM teams. This is for a great cause and we can help AHOY continue the life-changing work they are doing with the funds we are raising. If you don’t already, for updates please follow our social media channels. We will be regularly updating our progress on them and would love to have you all along for the journey.
Thank you in advance for all your support,
The Jones FM team.
